The Trio was born in 2009 from the collaboration of three classically-trained musicians from Pesaro, Italy. From the outset, they showed a marked sensitivity to both European and non-European popular music, which gave rise to a twofold repertoire that combines Western classical tradition with global folk music while at the same time highlighting their similarities and differences.
Their classical repertoire ranges from the 1700s to the present, with special emphasis on 20th-century and contemporary music.
